Transportation Team Leader

Purpose 

As a Transport Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of passenger and staff transport including scheduling, deployment, fueling, maintenance and appearance. You will be responsible for SLAs reporting and recording services for billing. Your focus will be on ensuring efficiency and upholding high safety standards throughout the process.

Accountabilities

• Monitor and reduce fuel consumption by effectively managing engine idling and maximizing the number of operational trips per shift
• Ensure efficient management of bus rotations to minimize maintenance issues and reduce breakdowns
• Supervise team members to ensure compliance with operational standards and drive overall efficiency
• Oversee and enforce cleaning and appearance standards for both the interior and exterior of all buses
• Coordinate maintenance and upkeep with relevant stakeholders proactively reporting any potential issues or resource shortages
• Monitor and report on service levels delivered by third-party contractors to ensure quality and value are maintained
• Work closely with the Bus Allocator to ensure sufficient resources are deployed to meet operational demand
• Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Baggage, Ramp) and provide on-ground coordination with customer airlines and stakeholders
   

Education & Experience

• High school diploma
• At least 3 years' airline or airports experience
• Valid UAE Driving License
