JOB PURPOSE

To source and supply spare parts, source repair capability of local repair companies

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Interface with service technicians and ensure their parts and accessories needs are being met.
• Assist technician’s orders for parts and source and supply as soon as possible
• Recommend related parts and accessories, which may be required for the job 
• Conduct physical testing of equipment and vehicle after servicing. This includes testing the operation of engine, gearbox steering, brakes, instruments etc.
• Supply costs of parts information on repair orders
• Notify service personnel when special parts or back-orders parts are received
• Ensure that parts/repairs are in line with the manufacture's requirements

Key Deliverables

Education & Experience

• Completion of secondary (12 years) technical education followed by recognized mechanical course mandatory
• 4 years’ experience in maintenance and repair work on mechanical assemblies and pneumatic and hydraulic systems 
• High level of communication skills using all methods e-mail, phone etc.
