Team Leader Cargo

JOB PURPOSE

To give supervisory oversight in specific areas of the Abu Dhabi Airport operation and deliver a superior guest experience and ensure the highest levels of safety. This team member will support and execute the delivery of the daily operation. The role work independently or as the leader of a small team to deliver against all performance and safety KPI.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

•    Plan, update and supervise activities in order to ensure the safe and professional delivery of service for Etihad and Other Airlines’ in line with the defined SLAs and quality standards 
•    Drive employee engagement and a high-performance culture by being a role model that gives emphasis to empowerment, communication, quality, productivity & goal attainment.
•    Ensuring that all SOPS are adhered to at all times both by yourself and your team members allowing for a safe and secure operation.
•    Encourage consistency and collaboration by ensuring clear communication at all levels. This will include delivering team briefings, and completion of relevant reports. 
•    Ensure that all documentation pertaining to the tasks performed are accurately completed.
•    Proactively work towards the connection of all Guests and Bags.
•    Ensure they operate safely in compliance with applicable procedures and instructions. Report safety, security and service occurrences, errors, hazards and near misses utilizing the established reporting procedures 

Education & Experience

•    Secondary / High school level education  
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience in the relevant area
•    Valid UAE Driving License (Airside Roles only)
