Senior Training Manager

Purpose

Lead the training function to ensure safe, compliant and competent workforce that are operationally ready to deliver exceptional performance and service across multiple airports.

Accountabilities 

• Own the training strategy and the training plan. 
• Develop and maintain curriculum ensuring SOP and regulatory alignment.
• Manage instructors, vendor partners and all other training resources to facilitate and deliver the plan.
• Ensure operational and training compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, company policies and IATA/ISAGO standards.
• Monitor KPIs and customer feedback to identify trends for continuous improvement.
• Support rollout of new equipment, systems, initiatives and procedures.
• Proven ability to manage upward and influence senior leadership through clear communication, data-driven recommendations and effective stakeholder engagement across operational and corporate functions.
• Develop, implement and manage operational training programs and competency frameworks.
• Maintain training records, compliance documentation and audit readiness within a regulated environment.
• Manage change initiatives, operational improvements and rollout of new procedures or systems.

Education & Experience

• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience within aviation ground handling, airline operations, airport services or a related operational environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing training, operational or safety teams within a multi-site or high-volume operation.
• Strong understanding of IATA and ISAGO standards and their application within ground handling operations.
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
