Receptionist(UAE National)
Job Purpose
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role also includes administrative support duties such as managing office supplies procurement, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining inventory to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Front Desk & Communication
- Greet visitors and clients with professionalism and warmth.
- Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and accurately.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
Administrative Support
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings.
- Assist with document preparation, filing, and data entry.
- Support HR and other departments with clerical tasks as needed.
Office Supplies & Procurement
- Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and stationery.
- Source, compare, and purchase supplies from approved vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and expenses.
- Suggest cost-effective alternatives and improvements.
Qualifications and Expereince
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in office administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor coordination.
