Marketing & Communications Officer

JOB PURPOSE

 

The Marketing & Communications Officer supports the execution of marketing and communications activities across Velora, ensuring consistent messaging, effective internal engagement, and timely delivery of communication initiatives. The role assists in coordinating campaigns, events, content creation, and stakeholder communications while ensuring alignment with Velora's brand standards and business objectives.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Support the execution of corporate marketing and communications initiatives in line with approved plans and brand guidelines. 
  • Assist in maintaining the marketing & communications calendar, ensuring activities are delivered on schedule.
  • Draft and coordinate internal communications including announcements, newsletters, employee engagement campaigns, and leadership messages. 
  • Support external communication activities and content development as required. Event & Campaign Coordination
  • Assist in planning and coordinating internal and external events, including town halls, employee engagement activities, and commercial initiatives.
  • Coordinate event logistics, vendor arrangements, and communication materials. 
  • Support campaign execution and monitor delivery against agreed timelines. Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate with HR, Commercial, Digital & Innovation (D&I), Finance, Operations, and other departments to support communication initiatives.
  • Follow up on approvals, content requirements, and project milestones.
  • Liaise with external agencies, suppliers, and vendors when required. Delivery & Administrative Support
  • Track project timelines, action plans, and deliverables to ensure effective execution. SENSITIVE
  • Maintain communication records, approval documentation, and campaign files.
  • Support reporting and status updates for ongoing projects and initiatives. Brand & Content Management 
  • Ensure communication materials comply with Velora's brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate design, print, and digital content production activities.
  • Assist in maintaining content repositories and version control. Performance Tracking
  • Support tracking of communication and campaign performance metrics, including engagement and participation levels.
  • Compile reports and provide insights to improve future communications and campaigns. 

Education & Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, internal communications, public relations, or corporate communications. 
  • Experience supporting campaigns, events, and communication activities in a corporate environment is preferred. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage. 
  • Good organizational, coordination, and time-management skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
