Manager, CIT and Cash Solutions

Job Purpose

The Manager, Cash in Transit (CIT) and Cash Solutions will lead the secure, efficient, and compliant delivery of CIT, armored transportation, cash processing, vault management, ATM replenishment, and related cash solutions across the national operations footprint. The role is responsible for driving operational excellence, safety, regulatory compliance, customer service, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement in a high-risk, high-volume cash-handling environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute the national operations strategy for CIT, cash processing, ATM services, and cash solutions in line with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Oversee regional branches, hubs, and field operations to ensure standardized processes, consistent service delivery and effective resource allocation. 
  • Lead route optimization, scheduling, fleet deployment, and capacity planning to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Monitor operational KPIs including on-time delivery, cash accuracy, vehicle utilization, productivity and service efficiency.
  • Enforce robust security protocols, cash controls and safety procedures to support a zero-incident operating culture.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, licensing requirements, cash-handling standards, and internal operating procedures. 
  • Oversee incident investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, risk assessments, and security audits.
  • Lead, coach, and develop operations managers, supervisors, CIT crews, vault processors, armed drivers/guards and support teams. 
  • Manage operational cost controls, budgeting, forecasting, fleet maintenance and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, retailers, government entities, and other key clients to ensure service excellence and contract retention.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, Compliance, and Technology teams to deliver integrated and reliable cash solutions.
  • Lead crisis response, business continuity planning, contingency readiness and emergency response for major operational disruptions.

    Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA or master’s degree preferred.
  • 8–9 years of relevant experience in armored cash-in-transit, cash processing, vault services or high-security logistics.
  • Minimum 5 years’ supervisory or managerial experience leading operations managers and frontline security/crew staff.
  • Experience in international or multi-country cash solutions operations is preferred.
  • Proven exposure to digital transformation, route optimization technology, fleet telematics or cash management systems within CIT operations.
