Logistics Supervisor
Purpose
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating logistics, warehousing and supply chain activities within the airport or aviation environment. This role ensures the timely availability, movement and control of materials, equipment and supplies required to support continuous aviation and airport operations while maintaining compliance with safety, security and regulatory requirements
Accountabilities
- Supervise daily logistics, warehousing and inventory operations supporting airport or aviation activities
- Ensure timely receipt, storage, distribution and tracking of operational materials, spare parts, equipment and consumables
- Coordinate with airport operations, ground handling, maintenance, engineering and external suppliers to meet operational requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock records, reconciliations and system updates
- Implement and enforce logistics procedures, safety standards and security protocols in line with aviation and airport regulations
- Oversee shift handovers and ensure continuity of logistics support in a 24/7 airport environment
- Prepare and review operational reports related to inventory, deliveries, discrepancies and performance metrics
- Train, supervise and evaluate logistics staff ensuring compliance with procedures and performance standards
- Support audits, inspections and compliance checks related to logistics, safety and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost optimization and efficiency enhancement within logistics operations
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse or supply chain operations, preferably within an airport or aviation environment
- Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience is required
- Experience working in a regulated, safety‑critical operational environment is highly preferred
